I’m so excited to finally see a lot of progress on the refinishing project for my grandmother’s buffet in our dining room. I’m loving the white with the champagne hardware. You can never go wrong with champagne!! (I still need the knobs for the doors :/).
My grandmother is 92, and actually I’m sitting with her in the hospital as I type. I’m so happy to have several family, heirloom pieces (this buffet, my great grandmother’s rocker and chest, and even an old wooden bucket). I may paint them white, or refinish them another way, or change the hardware, but however I style them through the years, I will enjoy so much that they are a part of my family, my heritage, and something I too will pass on – and they are all certainly more than decor.
