Find Time to Flyourish.

Sometimes, I like to just skip town… Leave it all behind and just get away. For me, with a demanding full time job and family (school and sports), it isn’t easy. If you are going to stay the night, it also can be expensive. All that said, sometimes it’s needed, required even. Our most recent getaway was just a week before school started for my son. Summer was ending, I was taking a new job, he was starting first grade. I needed a break! I wanted TIME with him… it goes so fast.

I ended up choosing Callaway Gardens in South, GA as our getaway spot – beautiful, short drive, great hotel and rate. We had such an incredible two days. We biked the trails stopping off at different spots along the way from 10am til 5pm!

For those two days, we didn’t stop, and yet everything stopped. Time, really did, stand still. We weren’t just day-to-day living, we were having a blast.

I’ve done some amazing traveling (Italy, Prague, France, Switzerland, London…), and this was one of the best trips ever. I hope I never forget those two days.

So, why am I writing this? Well, I guess to say, take those getaway days, even the getaway hours whenever you can. Take the time – a long hike, a quick day trip, a weekend. Whatever it is… Find the time to better yourself – your mind, body, soul, your family.

Do what is best for you. Find time to flyourish.
