A Cup of Kindness ☕️

I had such an unkind, disrespectful experience yesterday from a person who, you would think, should be very kind, understanding and respectful. I get it that we all have bad days, but wow, was I treated poorly. Where is the kindness? Where is the understanding? Aren’t we all in this life journey together?

So today, to spread some kindness, to put that good vibe and positive energy out into the world, I bought the person’s coffee in the car behind me, and here’s more on why… P.S. pass it on.

Some days are just are tough, especially around the holidays, and instead of starting the day with the “all the things” list, (i.e., work, Christmas shopping, food shopping, work (yes, again), school, car pool, after-school activity, doc appts, dinner, did I pay that bill?, holiday decorations, holiday plans, babysitters, blah, blah…), I decided I wanted to do one small, kind, fun thing to set the tone for the day.

Why? To make the day, that I am so very thankful for despite the lists (of course), a better, happier, kinder day, for me and hopefully for another person, another human being. Not just a your typical, crazy, Thursday.

I hope they too will pass it on to the next person during their day, and if you are reading this, you will too… whether it’s a cup of coffee or another kind gesture.

So, cheers to a better day! ☕️ Because we can make it so. XOXO
